LinkShare supports Internet Explorer 6 and above, Firefox 1 and above, and Safari 2 and above. We recommend Internet Explorer.
If you are using Internet Explorer 8 and are having problems registering with LinkShare or logging into LinkShare, you may need to adjust your browser settings. Please try the following instructions:
If you have problems registering:
- Click on Tools
- Select Internet Options
- Click on the Privacy tab
- Click on Sites
- If "linksynergy.com" is blocked then remove it from the list.
- Type in "linksynergy.com" and click Allow
- Click OK
- Click OK once more to close your Internet Options.
- Restart your browser
If you have problems logging in
I. Allow LinkShare cookies
- Click on Tools in your menu bar
- Click Internet Options
- Click the Privacy tab
- In the Settings section at the top, move the bar to Medium
- If you have XP Service Pack 2, the section below Settings will say Pop-up Blocker.
- Select the Pop-up Blocker checkbox and click the Settings button.
- Add linkshare.com and linksynergy.com to the Address of WebSite to Allow box
- Click Add
- Click on the Security tab
- Click on the Trusted Sites button
- Click on Sites
- Add linkshare.com and linksynergy.com in the box
- Click Add
- Click Close
- Click OK
II. Clear the Cache:
- Click on Tools in your menu bar
- Click Internet Options
- Click the General tab
- Under Browsing History, click Delete (This may take time if you have never done it)
- Click OK
III. Adjust Advanced Settings:
- Click on Tools in your menu bar
- Click Internet Options
- Click the Advanced tab
- In the Settings window, scroll down to the Security section and check off the following boxes:
Use SSL 2.0
Use SSL 3.0
Use TLS 1.0 - Click OK
IV. Adjust Security Settings:
- Click on Tools in your menu bar
- Click Internet Options
- Click Security
- Click Internet
- If "Security Level for this Zone" is set to something other than Medium-High, click Default Level
- Click Restricted Sites
- Be sure linksynergy.com is not listed. Delete if present.
- Click OK
This completes your browser adjustment. Please exit all open windows and restart Internet Explorer. You are now ready to log in to your LinkShare account.
